Rehan is a Consultant Orthodontist at the Royal Stoke University Hospital where he has been treating complex and challenging cases referred by dentists and orthodontic colleagues since 2014. In 2017 he joined the consultant team at County Hospital resulting in him being based across both hospitals.
Rehan qualified in 2008 from the University of Glasgow Dental Hospital and School with a commendation and after various practice and hospital posts he joined the orthodontic training programme in Birmingham. He subsequently completed his specialist training in Orthodontics and achieved the Membership in Orthodontics award from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow along with a Masters in Philosophy (MPhil) from the University of Birmingham based on his award winning research on the effect of orthodontics and orthognathic surgery on patient and clinical outcomes.
Following entry to the General Dental Council Orthodontic specialist list Rehan undertook extensive training and successfully obtained the Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship in Orthodontics of the Royal College and thereby achieved consultant appointable status.
Rehan currently teaches the next generation of orthodontists in the West Midlands through the University of Birmingham Orthodontic Teaching Programme and is also an examiner for the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
