The Principal Dentist - Mark Emms offers implant treatments, restorative and cosmetic treatments.

Mark Emms L.D.S.R.C.S (Edin) MSc (UCL)

Mark Emms was born and brought up in Staffordshire. He qualified from Edinburgh’s Royal College of Surgeons in 1985 and was awarded his Licence in Dental Surgery. He bought his practice in Penkridge in 1986. Mark undertook several years of specialised implant training at various centres of dental excellence in the UK, alongside running his practice as the principal. Mark then went on to complete a Masters Degree in Conservative Dentistry in 2004 from the Eastman Dental Institute in London, part of University College, London, where he obtained specialist training in all aspects of conservative and restorative dentistry.

The Priors Dental Practice enjoys a growing reputation as a centre of dental excellence which offers patients the very best in care, treatments and standards.

John Scholey Specialist in Orthodontics.

Mr. Scholey is a registered specialist in orthodontics. As well as offering private treatment here at The Priors Dental Practice, Mr. Scholey is a Consultant at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and Mid Staffordshire Hospitals.

Daniel Young B.D.S. (Sheffield)

Daniel is able to offer treatment plans for your individual dental needs and offers general maintenance, tooth whitening and smile evaluations.

Rachel Tomson Specialist in Endodontics
BDS, MFDS RCS Ed, MClin Dent, MRD RCS (Eng)

Rachel qualified with BDS from Cardiff Dental School in 1995 and finished her vocational training one year later in Staffordshire. She continued her training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine and Restorative dentistry as a Senior House Officer at Cardiff Dental Hospital. This was followed by a general practice position with Boots Dentalcare. She then undertook further training at the Eastman Dental Institute and obtained her MClinDent in Endodontology in 2005 and then subsequently she was awarded an MRD RCS at completion of her specialist training. She has worked in an Endodontic referral Practice in Essex and still works at the Royal London Dental Hospital.
